Who is this course for?

Holiday Junior Program is designed for young learners who would like to experience Australian culture and study English. This is a program with fixed dates throughout the months of March/April and July/August.

SPC organises homestay accommodation for the students, school programs and airport transfer. Home stay families have Blue Card Certificate (the Queensland clearance certificate for people working with children and young people), provide daily transfer to and from school and provide 3 meals a day.

​

A sample 2-week program consists of 2 full-day excursions and 8 days of:

- 3 hours of ESL lessons and

- half-day activities or excursions.

SPC Cairns has a very strict English Only Policy and students are encouraged to speak English even with people from their country.

​

Students who would like to stay longer can study up to 4 weeks. However, the English language curriculum and some of the activities may be repeated.

​

Students are given an SPC T-shirts and Journal during their stay.

What to bring?

Pen & paper, notebook, towel and consumable goods, such as soap and shampoo, sunscreen, hat, umbrella, swimming gear, dictionary, sea sickness tablet, camera and money.
